Medical Health Camp Conducted
On August 31, 2019, Sub-K IMPACT Solutions in collaboration with MFIN organized a medical health camp in the flood affected area of Sangli, Maharashtra.
Disaster results in acute and chronic effects on the physical and mental health of the affected population. In the aftermath of disaster, incidence of injuries, spread of communicable diseases and worsening of non-communicable diseases is reported in several cases. As “Good health is real wealth”, the health camp was organized.
The medical camp was organized at Dr. Patangrao Kadam Mahavidyalaya where over 500 people were screened by doctors and consultation-cum-follow-up was provided to participants in cardiology, orthopaedics, gynaecology, and general medicine. The camp was organised to check the health of people after the flood had ravaged the area.
