The nearest bank branch from my village, Kandukur, is seven kms away and villagers had to exert themselves physically and financially to avail basic banking services. I decided to bring the bank close to the people in my village so that they could have quick and easy access to cash and other banking facilities, just like city dwellers have. This was my effort to bring the people one step closer to financial inclusion
